oh, Floyd fans can't bash TMT with the way promotion of this fight is being handled.

You are so right. "it is better than nothing"
Alright dummies let's just get one thing clear. TMT & Mayweather Promotions are two different things. Mayweather Promotions handles the promotion of Floyd's fights. TMT is the brand that Floyd sells.

Showtime had 6 fights to cover Mayweather's guarantee of $200m-$250m. In case you missed it, Mayweather-Alvarez brought in $150m on PPV (Mayweather likely took home $70m off of that fight). You add that Mayweather likely took home $65m-$70m on the two Maidana fights and Mayweather-Pacquiao is already signed, and I don't see what your hang up is.

Not only will Showtime end up covering the Mayweather guarantee, they'll end up making a decent amount of money off of the deal and establish their boxing franchise as true direct competition against HBO. ignore reality all you want

Wasted opportunity to announce fight Superbowl/ All star weekend

Only 2 press conferences.....with no fans allowed which made the whole thing awkward and un-eventful

Floyd wants to all of sudden play the the humble guy...when he been one of the main guys talking shlt about Manny these past 6 years

The All access sucks.....only showing one guy at a time

I understand the fight will sell itself but this is just lazy and lame.....

Funny thing to me is how Floyd downplays Manny so much like he is the A-side and Manny is the D-side.....but chooses to rely on the "Floyd vs Manny" name to promote the fight.....
Pretty much agree. For a super fight the build up has been anything but super.
