    So what.
Cotto doesn't belong at 160, I get it. And its not even entirely his fault that he fought for the title there, it was more of a cherry pick gone very wrong on the part of Martinez. Similar to Pacquiao-DLH.

But if Cotto doesn't want to fight the best at 160 he should vacate the title and move back down to 154. I'd have no problem with him doing that.

Wow. Is this what they do when they're scared of fighting someone? "Rip" his resume so they'll have an excuse of not fighting him?

Agree, many would like to see the GGG fight and if he remains at 160 he has no excuse not to other than GGG is too much of a risk but if he wants to go back down in weight its respectable because he is a WW/small LMW.

The problem now is the indecision and hostage situation we have now with the lineal MW championship.

I hate when fighters rip other fighters resume's as a way to say they don't deserve the fight or need to fight them. Yet it's obvious the public is calling for it and that's why they go out to rip the resume.

That in fact makes it more apparent that they are trying to avoid or hide from the fighter because why on earth would you avoid a fighter the people are clamoring for you to fight unless you feel the threat is there??? Instead take lower/weaker opposition that nobody asked you to fight?

Happened with Mayweather and unfortunately it's going to happen to Cotto now while he holds the 160lbs belt. I hate to see that considering I'm a huge Cotto fan but at the same time, he should not hold on to a belt he doesn't really want to defend against legitimate Middleweights at this point.

If you post something in a language that is not the generally accepted language of the board, it is only polite to post a translation of what is being said. If not, don't be surprised when people do not get the actual gist of what is said.
You're right, but you do realize it takes forever to translate that entire conversation and no one is getting paid for it. Now you know what he said for the most part, he was talking trash about his resume. The title is misleading.

He already said GGG is a potential fight for him, Cotto is going to fight who gives him the most money. He's openly said that countless times.

Even if he decided not to and go back down no one could fault him but this is a hostage situation at 160 at this point.

I hear you. Cotto will most likely fight a voluntary and feel the weight out before he takes on a guy like GGG though. He may not...

How, he gets a voluntary and since Heiland seems to be the favorite, it's against a MW. I don't see the problem.

Yes you do see the obvious problem and do not want to admit it.
