I never really bought into the whole, "Floyd is ducking Manny" argument. Floyd offered a few times and the fight fell apart. To lay all the blame on Floyd is just contrary to the facts, especially when Arum himself says that he "didn't understand drug testing" enough to agree to the fight.

I think what is more likely is that Floyd is just too full of hubris to chase the fight or admit that he cannot get it made. Floyd wants people to come up and kiss his ass for a fight, and Manny and Arum just refuse to do that. Who can blame them really, especially when they believe that Floyd doesn't want the fight. Manny was making a ton of money, well respected and they seemed to relish the image of Manny being the fighter that Floyd is scared to face.

Yes he did offer Manny a $40 mil flat no upside. If Manny would have accepted it he would have been the laughing stock in boxing world.

There are half ass offer, and there are whole hearted offer. This offer that they negotiated is well above what was Floyd's initial offer of $40 mil.

You're right, he want to control almost everything and he got them. If Manny and company played hard ball we won't be seeing this fight made. I truly believe that Manny and co. really wanted this fight and now they have to win this fight and give Floyd the medicine of his own on the rematch negotiations.
