60/40 split wasnt offered before, it was a flat 40mill fee for manny. and manny agreed to usada but with a cutoff date of a few days before the fight..

Roach is right in some respects. Fans, media, current and former fighters were gettin on Floyds helmet for not taking the fight. Its here finally.

The point is they had to agree to the request Floyd had put out there long ago and only then would the fight take place not a moment before.

Fact is only USADA decides on cutoff dates, not the fighters.

I agree and got a kick out of VP Stephen Espinoza trying to convince people at the press conference that Floyd always wanted the Pacquiao fight and that It was a top priority. Yet Floyd himself said there would be no fight as long as Arum was Involved. Someone was lying.

If Floyd had wanted the fight, the only thing Les Moonves would have had to do would have been to answer a phone call from Espinoza so Steve could tell him the fight was done.

I don't think Floyd was scared of Pac the fighter.
I do think that Floyd knows that if the fight is close he could lose a decision against the more popular Pacquiao who is just as connected in Vegas as he is.
No doubt Moonves pressured him and Espinoza into making the fight though.
In a way its a no win situation for Floyd. He wins people will just say he waited until Pac got old and was wartorn. He loses, even a robbery, people will be relentless.
