This is the only positive in all of this.

Dawson spent 13 fights at LHW before moving down to SMW to face Ward. His next 3 fights after were at LHW and Cruiser.

Rodriguez spent 1 fight at LHW before moving down to SMW to face Ward. He did not even make weight for the fight and his next 2 fights after were at LHW and Cruiser.

Oosthuzien has spent his last 2 fights at LHW and moved up in the first place because he couldn't make SMW anymore.

No more LHWs at SMW for Ward. He needs to make the Froch rematch happen.

If Ward wants to phase himself back in, great...but I see no reason why HBO should let Ward dictate the price or opponent to them.
