    HBO rejects Ward/Oosthuizen

HBO won't allow Ward to weight drain another LHW. Also they're aiming for the end of May, so likely he won't be fighting Froch.

I have heard that Andre Ward's return opponent might be Tommy Oosthuizen... Can you confirm that?

HBO has told me point blank they are not doing that fight, to which I said good because it rots.

Is Andre Ward lined up to fight anyone, or is he still in the business of talking about fighting one day? #wastedprime

Roc Nation and HBO are in talks for his next fight and a contract. One possible date for his return if they can iron things out is May 30 in Oakland. But that's pretty soon. We shall see how it goes.

ThankGod. Ward should not be allowed to make more than $1,000 on an untelevised event to fight someone that has absolutely no business being in the ring with him.

When I hear these fights are being made, I cringe...

Lol. Wonder if he will just take his next fight as untelevised to just get his ass back in the ring.

Makes you wonder who HBO would accept for a tune-up if they've turned Periban and Oosthuizen down. Maybe they don't want a tune-up on their channel.
