      You're picking only 3 fighters though. in the large picture, I'm sure mexican fighters have more wins over pr fighters.

            lol for a country with one of the ****tiest amateur infrastructures, lack of training, and some of the most terrible coaches alive, they seem to do pretty well for themselves.
            Now take your favorite fighters and take away their amateur experience and training and we'll see how good they do.
            Oh wait, we've already seen it. They would look like South America, who despite having a similar level of training as most mexicans, are about a million times worse.:lol:

            @Hyacinth
            Kneecans like to brag that they have more wins because they cherrypick bum mexicans more. Mexicans have the higher calibre wins. You decide which one matters more.

              To be honest the surprising part is that most fighters aren't promoted in this way.
              Mexican fans are one of, if not the largest boxing fan base. It would be ****** to have a style they favor and not try to advertise them.

                Excuse me? GGG IS Cotto's mandatory defense. Cotto has ONE voluntary defense he can choose to take but after that, he MUST fact GGG or be stripped or vacate the title. Which is what led to his recent statement that sanctioning bodies don't run his life and he will do what is best for his life and career and if Golovkin wants the belt he can have it.

                "We don't know yet," he said. "Everything I do will be the best for me. That is what I will do. If that is fighting Gennady Golovkin, I will do it. If not, he can take the middleweight title. He can take it." -cotto. Source (ESPN)
                Or in words people here might understand... I don't want nuthin' to do with Golovkin. Keep him the fck away from me. He can have the title, just don't make me fight him!!!

                  Puerto Ricans from PR start training more like pros instead of amateur. You dont know what you are talking about.

                    You're an idiot. If he vacates & goes back down to 154 lbs, his 3rd weight class, there is nothing wrong with that. Were you this upset at RJJ?

                      No one said there was anything wrong if he vacates. In fact most of us have been saying that through this entire thread but you Cotto fans refuse to understand it. WE DO NOT CARE IF COTTO FIGHTS GGG AS LONG AS HE CHOOSES TO VACATE THE TITLE. I would rather he vacate than fight GGG because it could end his career before he has the chance to complete his contract with RN.

                      If Cotto chooses to hold on to it and not defend it against a solid middleweight and then against his mandatory, GGG, then he is ducking and should be ashamed of tarnishing a fine career with such actions.
