Totally respectful to Mexican fans and fighters. A huge compliment to emulate a countries "style & form"!! The people who have insults for this young man are the fans that fear him. No different than Cotto not being proud enough to take the challenge from the best middleweight in the world.

They use it as an adjective, actually, not a verb. Are American schools really that bad that people do not know the difference?

A verb is an action word, when used as "Mexican" style, it is being used as a verb, implying Mexicans have a come forward style hence "action word." An adjective describes a noun, I dont see how Mexican describes a Mexican.

Besides, how would people feel if ggg fought black style or white style? Imagine if a Mexican and a Puerto Rican fought and it was called Caucasion style? lol

I don't think HBO or K2 are calling him an "honorary Mexican" or saying Mexicans should take pride in him because he "fights like a Mexican."

They're just using his fighting style (after an interview he gave after beating Geale at MSG) as a promotional tool to target Mexican boxing fans because A LOT of Mexican fans enjoy come-forward styles/and fighters fight that way (not all, obviously) I'm not Mexican but there's no way it's meant in disrespect..... GGG was the one who unintentionally started it by saying he fights with a Mexican style after his Geale fight- but he said it in a very respectful way. Like he respects and admires the "Mexican Style"

Apparently you havent been to a fight involving Mexicans in Southern California, its very loud & drunk lol, any Mexican that follows boxing that went knew Rubio was a bum so the cheering was probably from fights in the crowd because Im sure half the place was drunk before the main event.
