Is sad the way they are marketing GGG as an Honorary Mexican

Totally respectful to Mexican fans and fighters. A huge compliment to emulate a countries "style & form"!! The people who have insults for this young man are the fans that fear him. No different than Cotto not being proud enough to take the challenge from the best middleweight in the world.
Just throw the belt in the garbage and lets have an elimination bout for someone who will be proud to defend it.
I added Cotto to the Mayweather, Pacman. Hopkins club that needs to "go away"!
You made millions and you've done little for boxing as a sport, go home!

Besides, how would people feel if ggg fought black style or white style? Imagine if a Mexican and a Puerto Rican fought and it was called Caucasion style? lolComment

Wasn't the crowd against Rubio very Pro-GGG?
I don't think HBO or K2 are calling him an "honorary Mexican" or saying Mexicans should take pride in him because he "fights like a Mexican."
They're just using his fighting style (after an interview he gave after beating Geale at MSG) as a promotional tool to target Mexican boxing fans because A LOT of Mexican fans enjoy come-forward styles/and fighters fight that way (not all, obviously) I'm not Mexican but there's no way it's meant in disrespect..... GGG was the one who unintentionally started it by saying he fights with a Mexican style after his Geale fight- but he said it in a very respectful way. Like he respects and admires the "Mexican Style"Comment
