Do I think Floyd could push a little more and stop some guys? Sure. But why play into some other guys only chance and slug with him? That is idiotic. Floyd could have KOed JMM and Cotto easily but he saw no need. I mean sure that is one reason many don't like Floyd and thats fine. I am a boxing purist and I love watching pure technical fighters.
There's a difference bt having killer instinct and going for a finish and taking an unnecessary risk.
and your wrong. If he could've finished jmm and cotto easily he wouldve. Maybe he could've done it, but certainly not easily

I mentioned in my post above, but certainly Tszyu at 140 was the lineal champ.
Also Williams at 147 would've been a great fight. So would've a fight with Shane 5 yrs earlier bf Shane was almost 40

Name a fighter that Pac has fought with more power than them? Now name one that is faster than Pac? I am glad there is only one meaning of "taking risks". The one that is "Chuckguy" approved.
You are a Floyd Stan your view is blurred by Floyd's balls. Nice try though. Stick to what you know best and that sucking Floyd off

Everyone is picking floyd. This is better for pac because of no pressure and he has nothing to loose. Floyd will have all the pressure on him being The Best Ever and all.

All these fights you named are more current. Floyd doesn't have the legs that he used to have so he has to stand his ground more. His boxing skills were more supreme in the lighter weights which also coincides with being younger.

That said, the fight wasn't a draw. You score boxing on clean punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defense. Even though weren't many clean punches, Floyd had more. Neither fighter was aggressive. Floyd won in the ring generalship department because he got done what he wanted moreso than Canelo. And even though Nelo's defense was good and for the most part overlooked. I think Floyd was clearly better that night defensively.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I've said several times on here that I thought Canelo was more effective against Floyd thsn Maidana. That said, based on properly scoring a fight, it was a very 8-4 type fight, 7-5 at best.
Your post is very intelligent and observative . It's true Floyd's body language was over blown . The rounds I did give Canelo were because he was actually the one "Making the Fight" . At least he was trying to . So I gave him those rounds on work ethic , everyone scores a bit differently based in what they think translates in to efficacy . Some score clean shot (which they should) , some score body language , some score ineffective aggression like what Porter did against Kell brook . So since I really couldn't score off of many clean punches that fight , in instead scored off of who was making the fight happen

I see a lot of people getting their excuses ready. The only way May trades with Pac is if Pac makes him. However either fighter wins, there shouldn't be any excuses! Closing the show and trading is just your way of saying "give my fighter a chance". It shouldn't matter if Mayweather opens up. The opponent needs to just let his hands go, and if he doesn't. It's going to be a UD.
I'm glad I like both, no excuses from me!

marquez is not saying for floyd to go out there with his head out to get knocked out. marquez is simply saying floyd will not go for the ko because that will make him more vulnerable so if its a boring fight dont be surpise because thats how floyd fights.
It's boring to you, because you dislike him. I like all styles of fights and Mayweather is exciting to me. He's not Pac, but when you appreciate boxing as a whole his style is one of many that works.

I forget who said it, but someone made a comparison to this fight and Lenoard vs Duran. It could go one of two ways. It all depends on what Floyd does. We already know what Pac's gonna do. If Floyd decides to trade with Floyd, then it'll look like Lenoard - Duran I. If he boxes like he should, it'll look like Lenoard - Duran II.
