He is pleasing the fans that he is taking the fight. He has no intent on pleasing the crowd or giving them their money's worth. He is there to get that W. Nothing else matters. He doesn't care how he wins neither.

This the exact thing I was telling my casual boxing fan colleague at work, they know am into boxing and they ask who would win after watching the red carpet even a few days ago, I told them straight up that Mayweather wins. I said he would win by UD and it would be a no risk taking sort of fight. I use Chelsea football club to draw my comparison in the way he would win no matter how much the crowd boo his style of winning.

That fight was real smoke and mirrors . I'd advise watching it again with this in mind . Watch the fluff by Floyd , the ineffective apparent aggression and the all the hitting on each others arms from blocked shots . watch how when canelo tries to press the action and come foward Floyd goes backwards , then canelo gets tired of the inaction and willingly goes against the ropes to force Floyd to come forward into some action . I remember distinctly one particular round Canelo kept coming forward to engage but Flyod kept doing his backing up / side to side thing , then Canelo finally said fuc it and stopped and just stood there and as soon as he did that Floyd came immediately forward as if to prevent the crowd from figuring out that he was the reason for the inaction . What a magician he can be sometimes !

Aint no suprise... why should Floyd take a chance against the offensive juggernaut that is Pacman.. Floyd knows better, and after he actually feels Pacs punch I doubt he makes it a war.. that isnt Floyds style..

Let me 1st say that I am Flyod fan . I admire his ring intelligence and brilliance . Having said that , I had a chance to THOROUGHLY watch the canelo fight again , and I honestly had it about a draw along with that outcasted ref that also scored it a draw . Flyod truly dismantles some fighters like Guerrero and Marquez , but when I re watched the Canelo fight without the phony commentary I honestly saw a different fight . When I watched it live I was caught in the moment cheering for him ect ect . But when I went back and thoroughly watched it with the volume down , I wasn't impressed at all . Much of the lopsided scoring was based on Canelo's frustrated body language whereas Flyod maintained a look of confidence throughout but really did little in the fight except shoe shine s..t , much of his work was fluff . this fight seemed Aura based . Canelo's body language didnt sell anything but a loss , he looked dejected cause he really couldn't seen to hit Flyod . But Flyod really didn't find him either so he should of sold a different look . I had rounds 2,6,8,9,10,12 for Alverez based on work ethic . I know this won't be a popular post

Popular post with me. That is what I saw. The world sees Mayweather doing great things when he isn't, because they are conditioned to call his fighting domination even though it isn't.

Even in the second Maidana fight Floyd still was getting caught on the ropes and Maidana didn't start the second fight as ferocious as he did the first because in the first fight he ran out of gas. The second fight Maidana seamed to try to pace himself more allowing Mayweather the opportunity to get comfortable early. Manny does everything better then Maidana and doesn't Fatigue. If Floyd wins it will have to be his best performance, Manny also. They are both each others kriptonite. I' picking Manny because I feel Floyd has been fighting slower fighters for to long now. Mannys one of the fastest boxers I've ever seen and he's equally as great as Floyd.
