Im an Avid Sugar Leonard Fans when he was figtin the likes of Duran, Hearns, Hagler etc.

I become a Luisito Espinosa fan in the 90's when he was supreme @126

I was able to watch some of pacman's early bout but become a fan only when he destroyed Chatchai Sasakul in 98 (Sasakul was a hero then)


I was labeled as a Pac Nuthugger at MAB's forum, saddo's BS and some other sites when me and some other fans declare and defended that PACMAN will beat MAB by stoppage in 2003. Back then it was totally nuthuggin if you think pAC has any kind of chance againts MAB.

mayweather/black fans.

Mayweather is loved by everyone, you have to understand that Black people are too busy supporting the 10 million other superstars in other sports that black boxers dont get a whole lot of nationwide support unless they are p4p outstanding like mayweather, in which case they are loved and revered by all. In general, i would say its americans in general who are in love with mayweather, not just black people. Most of mayweathers supporters arent even black i can tell you that. Unlike mexicans/puerto ricans etc, black people dont have a special country to call home, therefore the support ranks are much more diverse.

Lol good topic I'm feeling that. I guess I'm basically where you stand I root for Cotto so therefor I am a Cotto fan but at the same time I realize that till Hatton abandones his jr. welter weight titles he is the real champion and that makes Cotto a paper champ which I hate to say but its true. Alot of times i find myself trying to talk sense into the nutthugger fans but essentially its useless, lol.

we've all been there, if i tried to tell my uncle that hatton was the real deal he'd try to explain why hes not like if i were a 5 year old

i see it like this, you have to be smarter to be understanding, you'll notice that the best contributors on this forum are people who use real logic and no nationalistic bias when trying to state a case. now, don't get me wrong - some pr/mexican/pinoy/italian support cuz you share their heritage never killed anybody either, but w/ discretion - cuz it almost always turns into a race war and reasonable conversation can't exist w/ undertones of racism. wouldn't be so harsh as to say that cotto is a paper champ, lets not forget what the wbo champ calzaghe did to our linear champ lacy **scratches forehead, still can't believe that happened**

I'm a real fan but, like most, can be a nuthugger as well. For example, I'm convinced that JCC could have beaten Sweet Pea had they fought 5 years before, at lightweight. In light of the schooling Whitaker gave Chavez when they met, I guess even thinking that JCC could have a chance makes me a nuthugger. I don't know.

What I'll never do is downsize the merits of those boxers I'm not a fan of, or those who fight my favorite fighters. For instance, I don't get those pac fans who say that Morales, Barrera and JMM are chickens, or are not great fighters, because that only diminishes Pac's wins against them. In that regard I'm not a nuthugger.

What I wholeheartedly hate is ******ed, unknowledgeable statements that are uttered matter-of-factly, like "Pac is the hardest punching feather ever", or "a prime Tyson would KO Ali" and those kind of ******ities.
