This is not true.Damn, you are struggling for an argument and it is weak. When a contract is written, there has been an agreement. If one party signs and the other doesn't and decides to move the goal post, another round of negotiations ensues and another contract is written when new terms are agreed to. As you alluded to, this iteration can go on and on until both parties sign. So your "FACTS" that Pacman lied about signing a contract breaks apart. It is sensible for Pacman to sign the contract if he agrees to it. If Floyd decides to move the goal post, the contract becomes moot and Floyd can then proclaim there is no contract. In other words, Pacman can sign all contracts that can be written up but until Floyd signs, there is no binding contract and the illiterate Floyd can proclaim endlessly that there is no contract.
But really, I could care less about the contract controversy. The fight has been made and that's what counts. Let it be a clean, uncorrupted fight and may the best man win.
A contract does not have to be agreed upon by both negotiating parties before it is written. A contract can be written by either side and passed on before it is officially agreed upon. Contracts have a high tendency to go through a series of drafts before a final agreement is written. Where both sides legal teams are going back and forth.
Pacquaio could have signed a draft of any contract, but it's meaningless if the process was at a very premature stage. And there is way too much information pointing out the facts that the networks were bickering for quite some time about specifics in the deal.Comment

I tried to tell him but dude wanted to be Jerry Maguire. Plain as day what I told him but he just didn't want to take the L. Hopefully Prophet learned his lesson about contracts and negotiations. This is not true.

A contract is a legally-binding document between parties involved and for it to be legally-binding it has to be agreed to and signed. What you refer to as a contract in paragraph 2 is a contract proposal that both parties may write up in preparation for negotiations. If the negotiations are uncomplicated, these proposals can easily be modified to be the contract agreed to by parties involved. However, in the case of Pac/PBF, there will be many iterations due to the complex nature of the fight. This is not true.

The operative phrase is bolded in paragraph 2, "Pacquiao COULD HAVE SIGNED". We are all surmising as to what was signed. Did Pacquiao sign a contract proposal? Possible. Did Pacquiao sign a contract that was agreed to by both parties, that Floyd wouldn't sign? Possible.Comment

What RadioRaheem said is way more sensible than what you've been posting. Once again, let's dissect a contract that you've negotiated. GRUSTLER THE NEGOTIATOR WITHOUT CONTRACTSComment

Everyone is Fortune, except obviously the Flowemoes, they think it's genius. Floyd could blow his load on their mothers face and it would be a thing of 'art.'Comment

CREDIBILITY, MAN, CREDIBILITY. So important in life... You said above that you've negotiated contracts before, yet you cannot share just one. Even the simplest one will do. No need to specify names of parties involved. You signed NDAs I am sure. C'mon man, enlighten us... Still waiting....Last edited by Prophet2525; 03-08-2015, 09:55 PM.Comment
