Paying sparring partners just to stay home... to spite your opponent.. is inherently dishonest. It's like paying your daughter's ex boyfriend to stay away from other women because seeing him date other girls hurts her feelings.

The interviewer referred to "RUMORS" of paying off potential sparring partners not to spar with Manny, to which Fortune responded that such behavior is childish. Does Fortune believe the rumors? Who started the rumors? Who knows, who cares? That's why they're called RUMORS!! No it isn't. Bribed implies they were illegally or dishonestly coerced into doing something. In this case, if true, they were simply paid more than TR offered them to come into camp. Did these guys ever make it to camp with Manny?

They exploited a loophole at worst-a loophole that Bob could have easily closed if he paid them more and signed them.

what Bob Arum was investigated before was for bribing. Giving money and or gifts to sway in one direction. These fighters were not exclusive to Pacquiao's camp. Did they even start sparring? If Haymon had them go In and spar a little and then pay them them to leave the camp then that would be bribing but paying them more to not go is not bribing but hiring the fighters. Weren't they Haymon fighters or affiliated with him? I would think Manny using them is worst.

If you think that is what this is like well that is crazy. That said, it's still not dishonest.

You and other pac fans don't have to like this, but falsely labeling it dishonest, illegal, immoral or calling it a bribe doesn't make it so.

Just be honest about why you don't like it without trying to create some viable justification.

yeah, They are just labeling it that way rather than just being honest-they think this will hurt Manny's chances of beating Floyd so they are mad about it.
