Doubt he ever relies on his corner for advice, he's smarter than both his uncle and dad combined.
Not roger. too many people on NSB judge roger solely by what we see on 24/7. He is a 2 time world champ in an era when it was tough to win titles. He knows the sport. He also isn't trying to "be the man" like I think Floyd sr. is.

I like that he is more offensive. I think for a Manny fight that would be more useful. I get that SR, preaches defense and that's great long term, I just think roger is better.

He is also a calming influence while sr is always about "lil Floyd, listen to me".

Roger has far more experience in the gym than senior does. Both aren't very good at giving advice to combat an opponents offense and defense.
They don't have very much experience other than Floyd jr.
Who else have they trained from scratch that has ability?
Fighters may come to their gym for work but no one I know has ever been developed there.
Just look at the video of lil' Floyd acting like a fool when one of the members there got rocked.
you didn't see anyone teach how to take a knee? No one taught how to clear your head? No one talked about picking up the ref's count and how to clear your head! These guys are for themselves and when Floyd is done you won't see them
      around anymore.

Imagine senior talking to YOU in a corner with a good fighter across the ring?
After 2 rounds of him I'd KO his azz! hahahaha...
      Ray.

At this point in their careers it doesn't matter who is in the corner. If either fighter is depending on that they've already lost. To me Roach seems desperate to find imaginary advantages.

He's also contradicting himself. He says Mayweather doesn't need a trainer in one sentence and in another he says je needs Roger.

I see this statement overused. Can you list all of the successful trainers today who started with their fighters from the very beginning to now? There are very few if any at all.

Roach is very clever, he'll be laughing his head off IF Sr or Roger get asked about this and take the bait.

Exactly. Not sure it matters anymore. Floyd is going to make the adjust necessary to win the fight, if he can. Which so far, he hasn't had any trouble let doing so.

If Floyd has senior in his corner, not sure how that would play out. Not the best choice of the two, at least that is certain unless he would be there because Floyd would need motivation.
