As does pacquiao. It's funny how important cornermen think they are during the fight with an experinced champion like pac or Floyd. At this point in the game Pac and Floyd keep roach and sr around for training, consistentcy and comfort, and to create a game plan more or less. When the fight is on they're nothing more than guides. Neither is really listening with baited breath for their corner advice.

Yeah, Roger saying "He anit got *****" "Keep doing what ya doing" "Walk dat muthaphucka down!" was pivotal to Mayweathers success. He still does the pad work and essientially trains Floyd. Senior is just the cornerman the night of the fight. Theres not much you need to tell Mayweather on the night of the fight. I think everyone who believes he will just thinks he'll find a way to get the win, not put on a clinic..either way the corners wont determine the outcome

Freddie Roach is a pretty funny guy, but in all seriousness he's probably right. SR. has no business in any fighters corner. He has very little advice to offer to his fighters in between rounds. He had no idea what to tell Floyd in the 1st Maidana fight.

And if I remember correctly it was his advice that lead to Bey getting stopped by Molina. And lets not forget the terrible job he did as Hatton's trainer.

Roach is basically saying Floyd sr panics in the corner and can't get a sentence off when he panics, which is true, if you watch Roger and Floyd working corners, Roger NEVER panics, Floyd sr does, watch that Hatton fight with Pac, Floyd acted like he already lost after Pac knocked Hatton down twice, Floyd was mad and was already defeated creating an excuse for why Hatton is going to lose saying you should have listened to me from day one. once Hatton was out cold, Floyd ran away like a b1tch with no honor and blamed Hatton and then spread the lies aboout steroids being the only reason Pac and Roach were able to beat his greatness.

But Roach has always said Roger is a better fighter and trainer than Floyd sr, Roach and Floyd and Roger have been beefing since the 80s.

Wrong. Sr. gives way better advice than roger. Sr told bey what to do and he did the opposite and go kod. Sr also gives more instructions to floyd. Roger says the same thing over and over

What fighters did he develop and what signifigant wins does he have as a trainer without his son? And using "hater" makes u sound like a 12 year old little girl on her kik account. debate like a G and not a B

Anyways, I actually think that Floyd Sr.'s advice benefits Floyd more than Roger's in this bout. Sr. will tell him to stick and move and pot shot while Roger will tell him to walk Manny down, which wouldn't be a smart idea especially early on.
Would be hilarious if the fight gets stopped because a brawl breaks out between Roger and Senior LOL.

Roger was only replaced because Floyd Jr. needed an excuse for being ruffed up by Cotto. The Cotto fight really shook Floyd because it's the only time (other than the Castillio and Maidana fights) were Floyd had some many excuses for his performance.

Excuse me for pointing out the fact, that Roach's between-round comments aren't that informative either. In fact its quite repetitive and nonsensical respective to the events.
