Sr is the better defensive trainer and Floyd said after Cotto he didn't want to get hit as much. Roger is very effective with offense but Floyd is trying to keep his hit and not get hit philosophy. I heard Sr was mad in the Maidana fight because Floyd wasn't listening to his instructions.

They can both be in the corner but he is trained by both of them the entire training camp. Roach is trying to shake things up because if Floyd had Roger then he would engage more but that is the exact reason why Floyd's fight have been easier than expected with exception to the first Maidana fight.

No need to check boxrec...who has Roger groomed from start to finish. They both get credit for little Floyd in my opinion. Roger hasn't trained anyone to elite status that's not name Mayweather.
