When Cotto and Co, turned down $10.5 million to face Canelo, you had to know something was going sideways... #boxing

If HBO brings the right amount to the table, I am sure Cotto will fight GGG. By the right amount, I mean $4 to $5 million for Cotto. HBO won't offer that much and GGG can't draw flies on PPV, so the fight won't happen.
On the other hand, Cotto/Ward on PPV will draw 400,000-500,000 buys and will allow Cotto to make $5 or $6 million.Comment

Def not ever fighting floyd again and almost certain he won't fight Canelo before he retires(he never wanted to and everyone knows that). Cotto clearly doesn't care about his "kurea" anymore and is willing to fight low level competition until he retires. It must be that he feels he can't win against Canelo, Floyd and GGG(don't blame him).
I haven't seen a career/boxer take so much heat in 1 year like this in a long time lol. its like he fell through a perpetual downward spiral of suckery right into the arms of $atan Lol. Good job Miguel Toto! ruining your own legacy One decision at a time.Comment

Top Rank had done everything to appease Cotto. They had no obligation to help him out with Cotto Promotions but they went out of their way to build up their stable by moving their puerto rican fighters from PR Best Boxing over to Cotto Promotions. They even went as far as to make him Felix Verdejo's co-promoter. Top Rank could've just been greedy and had the best prospect in boxing exclusively to themselves. The least Cotto could've done was return their calls and not gone behind their backs to sign with Roc Nation.Comment
