Camacho vs Mayweather at 130 - Your pick?

Camacho was a great boxer but he couldn't punch. At 130 Floyd had the power to go with the speed.

Mayweather easily. Mayweather is better in every way and he is a very hard worker in training unlike Camacho who could have been better if he tried harder.

at 130, I wouldn't hesitate at all to pick Camacho. Speed, power, defense, agility, ring smarts; Camacho was simply great.

Asking this question to a bunch of casuals just doesn't do this fantasy matchup any justice. At '47 and '54 I'd go w/ Mayweather though

floyd never had power. please post some of floyd's devastating stoppages at 130...oh yeah there are none. some corner stoppages but that doesn't show great power. it shows that he doesn't have great power because he was able to continuously hit his opponents without knocking them out during the action.

I would say their power was about even. Camacho dropped guys from jabs because speed is power as they say. And he dropped guys with every other punch. His ability to move in and out with some of the fastest feet and his ability to circle an opponent was amazing. Speed-wise and volume, I go with Camacho. He would have been like catching a butterfly in the dark. I picked Camacho but it could go either way but no way is it anything but a close fight at 130. Camacho was one of those guys that made opponents look drunk and ****** because of how much of a blur he was. He wouldn't have been able to make Floyd look drunk and ****** but he would have given him fits. He was like a hornets nest set lose at 130.

I'd pay $100 to see that fantasy matchup. Lightning bolts flying everywhere and compubox would explode with those two at 130.

Let's compare completely different fighters as in styles, attributes, weight class, etc... yet cite Castillo? Castillo had a nice size advantage, strength advantage, and it was Floyd's 1st fight at lightweight(torn rotator cuff also). Camacho doesn't have the same intangibles against Floyd as Castillo did. Using the Castillo fight at 135lbs against Floyd for a fantasy fight against Camacho at 130lbs makes no sense. Floyd is better than Camacho imo in every way. The only intangible that Camacho has over Floyd is being a southpaw.
