In both fights, the slower Castillo still landed his share and he was much slower than Camacho. Floyd had a great defense but if a number of guys who were slower could land a small number of punches per round on Floyd, Camacho at 130 would land at a much higher rate. This would be a very close fight.

Who would be the aggressor is the real question. But Macho Camacho is a handful for alot of fighters and at 130 he was wonderful. Would've been great. One of the greatest 24/7s of all time!

Perfect and to the point. Not an easy fight for either guy.

Using the Castillo fight at 135lbs against Floyd for a fantasy fight against Camacho at 130lbs makes no sense. Floyd is better than Camacho imo in every way. The only intangible that Camacho has over Floyd is being a southpaw.

Floyd vs Camacho at every weight Floyd and Camacho both competed at:
          Floyd by UD at 130lbs.
          Floyd by UD at 135lbs.
          Floyd by UD at 140lbs.
          Floyd by UD at 147lbs.
          Floyd by UD at 154lbs.
Hell I have 130lbs Floyd beating any version of Camacho.
          what about floyd-camacho at canelo-weight 155?
          what about floyd-camacho at chavez-weight 170?

I get it you hate Floyd. If you can't even admit the obvious we have nothing to talk about.

Great post. Ive thought about this many times. Im a huge fan of floyds. A 130 match up macho man would only spell trouble. His footwork was superb and he would circle the ring
pumping out that double and triple jab. Macho was so ****y aswell that he would actually walk into the ring like he was the A-side , and mentally thats a huge help to him.

i would lean towards a floyd split dec but a hard fought split but at the same time
i wouldnt be surprised if it goes machos way. At 130lbs macho looked like he was out of a computer game.

I wouldn't pick any fighter in history to beat Mayweather at 130.

That's exactly what it seems like when Camacho was young......it was like watching a computer game figure come to life. A blur of every punch in the book, darting in and out, circling and winding up behind a fighter, to the side of the fighter, like a 360 hologram.
