Remember, this is at 130. When I watch footage of him at 130, it is like watching a human blur. In a fantasy matchup between the two at 130, I have to give the edge to Camacho. At higher weights, he would have still been a handful, but at 130, he was perfection. He could turn and be behind a guy and hit him before the other guy knew it. A friend of mine, Ice John Scully, former 175 contender even said he tried to use that technique in some of his fights.
For Camacho, he was not just punching at an angle, he was a 360 degrees buzz saw.
Amazing how many fighters copied his flashy ring entrances....Hamed, Paez, etc, etc. Man, it sure would be great to see another fighter like that who was a human blur. I don't see anyone with that blinding speed or even near it.
Here is footage of a prime Camacho. Even when they show slow motion, he is still faster than most guys at 130.
