So is Ward calling out GGG is the equivalent of GGG calling out Trout, Lara, Alvarez and Mayweather?

Ward has fought at 160 before, he should move down.
What does one have to do with the other? This has nothing to do with Hatton or Mayweather.

Golovkin has beat up every top fighter at 160 who was willing to fight him. Why are you so opposed to him moving up? It doesn't even have to be Ward. There is better competition and bigger fights there.

It's baffling to me how anybody can be opposed to that.

Kovalev has actual business at 175 to take care of that does not involve Ward at all. With the WBC mandating the Stevenson-Kovalev fight, who gives a fuck about Ward going up to 175?
I want to see Ward go up and fight Kovalev and Stevenson and have done for a while.

But, if they can make Golovkin-Ward, I want to see that the most. Because Ward is probably the only guy 160-168 who has a good chance with Golovkin.

Other 168 fighters could be competitive IMO but Ward-Golovkin is one of the best fights in Boxing. Both are P4P fighters.

Then, winner could even consider Kovalev although Golvokin might be too small for that but they say he beat up Kovalev in sparring.

          Golovkin is a small middleweight.

You could see in Saturday's fight he's much smaller than Murray.

Hagler fought his whole career at middleweight, no one complained.

Why do his team keep saying he can KO anyone up to 168 then?

Why did they sign to fight Chavez at 168 then?

Why are you soiling your knickers over Ward?

No he really isnt. He has to cut weight to make 160 so he isn't a small middleweight.

I have seen the Hagler comparisons before but there was no real 168 pound division when Hagler was fighting. He would have had to move from 160 to 175.

once ward moves up he will not be coming back down

so triple g ward has to happen first

there is clearly a lot of fear by triple g fans of ward

same way ward fans fear kov

end of the day i believe ward and triple g shud face each other within the next 2 years...and then depending how ward fairs...he shud move up and fight kov

Maybe because there was no legitimate 168 division then.

People complained when Hopkins didn't move up.

Why don't you want him to move up?

Don't you want him to fight people who have a chance?

So at that time, what division would Andre Ward have fought in?

Bernard Hopkins once said 168 is a division light heavyweights hide in when they are afraid to fight the best light heavyweight.

Also 154 didn't exist at one time. Where would Charlo, Trout, Lara and Alvarez have fought?

Why are you asking what divisions current fighters would have fought in 30 years ago and why is that relevant?

The fact remains the super middleweight division is more competitive than the middleweight division with better fights for Golovkin.

I would also disagree with Hopkins considering that fighters like Toney, Jones jr, Calzaghe and Hearns fought at both 168 and 175.
