I don't see where the Cotto ducking Canelo is coming from. Cotto definitely had a chance in the Mayweather sweepstakes with his middleweight belt as bait, why wouldn't he wait until it was announce who May would fight? To me the Canelo fighting Kirkland was a power move gone wrong by Canelo's people.
