Can Cotto-Alvarez still be made for June?

Now that the PacMay fight is announced can Canelo back out the Kirkland fight and fight Cotto in June? Lets get real, Kirkland is an inactive fighter missing his secret weapon Anne Wolfe in his corner, I think he will be beaten easily by Canelo. And Cotto can't keep the WBC belt hostage and duck GGG until September to fight Canelo can he? Seems like June is the best time to fight for both camps IMO. Thoughts?

It definitely would be if Canelo just waited... but he blew his wad on a million dollar payday against a bum. I thought he was with Golden Boy but apparently Haymon is his adviser.

I'm sure they could give Kirkland some step aside money, it's happened before.

Canelo doesn't want to fight Cotto in MSG during PR Day parade weekend so that's why he was quick to make the Kirkland fight rather than wait to make the cotto fight in June. Canelo wants to be the "home" fighter so it will be Vegas or Texas.

Another person who see's the light, finally. It's Cotto's fault Cotto/Canelo can't be made people are saying and only one of them is currently scheduled to fight. The logic in that is unique to put it lightly.
