Bradley never had that on the table when the Khan fight was proposed. He may have had had some mythical future pipe dream of facing Pacquaio. But in reality all he did was turn down his highest payday because he thought he could lose.

Let's say that Bradley didn't get the Pacquiao fight at that point and then lost a fight to someone else. Would it then become a bad decision in your book? The end doesn't justify the means. You judge the decision when it was made.
I would disagree Dirk. his 1st TR fight was Casamayor at ww. I'm sure Bob told him he'd give him the easiest fight possible before the Manny fight. So it was like getting a free payday and then the Manny fight.

I don't see how Tim could turn that down.

Not to mention you don't turn down your highest payday when it's offered to you directly. Bradley was never offered anything directly when he turned down Khan. All he did was turn down Khan.
Frampton fought in front of 16,000 against a fighter he already KO'd. He's already a star.

He didn't have to turn it down. Khan fight was supposed to be in July. He signed for Top Rank in October or November.

Oh and he wasn't guaranteed the Pacquaio fight next. That has already been well established.

He could've taken the fight, but knowing you get a Casamayor fight at 147 and then a possible shot at Manny is hard to turn down.

They should be fighting now without question.

People saying Bradley turned down Khan for Pacquiao don't know what they're talking about. He fought Casamayor when he could have fought Khan and wasn't first choice when he actually got the fight (Cotto was offered a rematch first). Bradley was in the same position Jessie Vargas is in right now, he was an option.

But he didn't know that when he turned down the Khan fight. Stop revising history.

Your right, he didnt know that. But he made a business decision and it panned out for him. Unlike your beloved Khan who passed over devon only to have to fight him anyways a year later...

Don't know what Khan was thinking there.

If he won that fight he'd have had a belt aswell which would put him in a great position.

Stunned and put on ***** street by the undefeated, ATG, world champion, power punching, young, strong, hungry, lion Jessie Vargas lol! Bradley is at the point in his career that I think Rios can give him a tough fight and I'm being dead serious lol! Tim Bradley's best career decision was signing to Top Rank...
