Is Cotto Overrated?

Very good fighter.
Grossly overrated by a few of his fans, but still a very good fighter.
A belt holder in 4 weight classes, though he has never been the man in any given division.
His lineal MW title holds no relevance unless he proves me (and everybody else) wrong by fighting GGG.
In my opinion at 160 is going to get beat up as soon as he fights any top 10 MW with two good legs.Comment

Underrated fighter.
The guy was one of the best fighters of our era during his prime, it's just a shame it ended at the peak of his popularity. He's still doing decent for himself, given he's a shell of his former self.
You can see the technical brilliance here and there, but the body just isn't what it used to be.Comment

It does. You're absolutely right but the logic is *according to you from previous comments before* is that if you cheat, your career should be discredit. In that case, since Mosley's career is in question, he's not all that great. Right?Comment

I can't really answer this one. I don't think Cotto is overrated at all, just look at his accomplishments.
That said, he appears to be held in high regard due to past victories, not recent ones. He's always been a diva, but has stepped up when called out in the past.
Overrated in terms of career? certainly not. overrated in terms of current standing? possibly.Comment
