First of all, Cotto is one of the few ACTIVE fighters whose legacy is solid and not too much can change that....without a doubt Cotto is a future HOFer and NOTHING Abel can say to change that!!....the man has fought EVERY relevant champion and contender of his era....FACT!!!

Second of all, if Godzilla continues to avoid SOG then we can start talking about Godzilla's legacy...he's 30 plus yrs old and has yet to face a genuine top tier fighter....there's a couple of ***els around his size like Froch and Ward who have legitimate titles and would gladly welcome Godzilla at '68 if he ever wants to attempt to accomplish what the Legendary Miguel Cotto has

Lastly, ABEL EAT D*CK homie!!....Cotto don't have to fight your pitbull....he can drop the belt and drop back down and make some Nelo and re up on that Floyd money....he can even dig Marg back up from the grave and get a few more M's....bottom line...Cotto is in a good space legacy and career wise....that was some weak ass bait, you can come at Cotto sideways on a few things but his LEGACY is NOT one!!
Ward is avoiding the ring, have you not noticed? He's supposed to have a couple of tuneups first, nothing scheduled.

Froch said no interest, theyll swerve him if they can. Dangerous fight.

    You should get informed first.

    • Anthony Dirrell, Arthur Abraham, James DeGale, George Groves, Sakio Bika, are all active fighters at 168 who GGG can fight if he moves up to 168. After he beats one of them, then he catches the attention of the even bigger names like Ward, Froch, Kessler.

simple, if you want to fight welters just vacate the mw title...
i dont question his legacy, he is already a HOF, but if you dont want no risks drop the belt and let the others risk for it...

What makes you think they'll jump in the ring with him so quickly? Honest question.

Hes already caught the eye of those guys. Nothing changes, unless he starts looking vulnerable.

And why would he do that? If that is your mentality why not sign a petition for Floyd to drop his 154 belts so others will fight for it.

Obviously you have no idea how these so called A side fighters do business, oh yes, boxing is business.

              • Cotto is a 154 lb. fighter, who took a title from a washed up 160 lb. fighter in Martinez. He's no different from Floyd, who is 147 lb. fighter that took a 154 lb. title from an inferior fighter in Canelo. Floyd wouldn't beat Lara @ 154, and Cotto can't beat GGG @ 160. That's why Cotto will probably fight Mayweather, Khan, or Bradley @ 155 for the Middleweight title. If he was smart, he should choose Bradley.

When did I say it ever was?

                    • I'm surprised that this thread has evolved to over 100 replies simply for this fact: While Andre Ward was taking a year plus 'boxing vacation' to sort out his management problem, he plainly stated that he would fight GGG. Well, here we are in February 2015, and not only has Ward failed to sign to fight GGG, but so far Ward has also failed to sign to fight any other fighter. Previously I've posted that Ward should take enough fights to properly prepare for any potential fight with GGG, and I still believe that to be the correct strategy; however, some fans of Ward make it sound as if he would own GGG, and that he is a guaranteed winner. Well, I say now that Ward's actions since ending his 'boxing vacation' speak louder than either what he stated concerning his willingness to fight GGG or the comments posted by his fans on this site. I'm waiting, Andre Ward. Please don't disappoint me; I want to see you fight GGG. You don't even have to win. Just get the match made and fight.
