Kessler retired and Froch openly ducked GGG said he hits like a mule and doesn't want the fight. He only wants Chavez in Vegas and nothing else. Ward has also stated he wants a tune up before even facing GGG and really... It's Ward who needs GGG not the other way around. He's putting 7k people in NY as a Kazi facing an Aussi... Ward is lucky to get 7k in his back yard. GGG followed it up with the biggest gate and attendance ever wherever he fought Rubio. Ward has also fought 3 times in 3 years and that's how much GGG fought just last year against nearly the same level of competition.

Ward is a nobody, he isn't even ranked and people would say the "announcer" if you mentioned his name. Not the boxer.

Previously I've posted that Ward should take enough fights to properly prepare for any potential fight with GGG, and I still believe that to be the correct strategy; however, some fans of Ward make it sound as if he would own GGG, and that he is a guaranteed winner. Well, I say now that Ward's actions since ending his 'boxing vacation' speak louder than either what he stated concerning his willingness to fight GGG or the comments posted by his fans on this site. I'm waiting, Andre Ward. Please don't disappoint me; I want to see you fight GGG. You don't even have to win. Just get the match made and fight.
Andre Ward could have taken 3 years vacation, come back and still have a better resume and better pro accomplishments than Golovkin. Funny thing is, I say this tongue in cheek, but it would probably be true

Obviously you have no idea how these so called A side fighters do business, oh yes, boxing is business.
floyd does it, so the rest of the fighters should do it too..

So because GGG became a pro later that makes Andre better? Who cares who Ward beat 6 years ago in some lame tournament where he had every fight at home and made the other guy fight him and the ref. Then refused to fight his brain damaged friend, who really wasn't brain damaged after all. Ward (or his fans) are like an old HS QB telling everyone how great he was years ago and living off old accomplishments.

Its also a non point. As if anyone denies Ward has a better resume. So does Froch, by far, but finds this unproven mw too dangerous

Max Herman interview, he doubts Cotto fight ever happens, says they're aiming for the winner of Lee/Quillin (but doesn't mention that the winner has to face Saunders in July). He goes on to say they'll go to the UK for Froch or Lee and feels Ward will happen in 2016.

I'm not even talking about age. GGG's level of opposition would suck in those 3 years, he wouldn't catch up to Ward. He'd fight Saunders, Lee, Jacobs, old Martinez.

And why would Dirrell just purposely sideline himself with fake brain problems? Why would he lose out on generating revenue for himself? Stop being so gossipy. He wasn't brain damaged, and never claimed to be, he just had a head injury from Abraham's foul punch. Why you act like AA doesn't punch like Margarito with bricks? He's powerful as hell, have you seen his brutal KO on fighters who were aware? Imagine him getting a clean, undefended hay maker right on your head.

It's not helping his legacy. Not sure about helping.

I would hate for the last thing I remember Cotto for to be him ducking GGG and fighting welterweights with the MW title.
