I like Jacobs a lot too, just curious why you think canelo would have problems with him? I don't see it and I think he'd get steamrolled.

Of course he's the real deal. Is he the second coming of Chavez Sr, or Salvador Sanchez? Of course not. But he's a the real deal. Fighter who will fight anyone, doesn't duck, will make fights exciting and give anyone not named Mayweather a tough fight.

Depends if they've been schooled like he has since birth.

And Maidana gave Floyd 10x the fight CaneLOL did and arguably earned a draw in the first bout.

That Canelo fight was more to do with Canelo flattering Floyd and being a bad stylistic matchup than Floyd amazing skillz.

Has Canelo clearly and decisively beaten a world class opponent?

I respect the dude, but I wish people would stop trying to crown him despite not having a "crowning performance." When has he truly looked good against elite opposition? I thought Trout outpointed him; Mayweather schooled him; and you can make a case that Lara won although I believed Canelo deserved the nod because of his body work.

Let's see him have a CONVINCING win over an elite opponent. He doesn't have one yet, stop acting like it.

He's a bad style match up for a guy who's better than him in every single area. And once again, how many of those guys exist? There are gonna be other fighters that beat Canelo. But I doubt he will fight any thst beat him like that, soso yes, it had a lot to do with floyd's skills. Canelo lost to a guy much smaller and much older than him. Floyd is old in boxing years, so if it isn't his skills them what exactly is it?
