Beat Margarito in like 2006/2007. Beat Cotto and Williams in like 2008. Manny in 2010.

The Mosley win was good, although Mosley on a year+ layoff.

Was an Erik Morales fight ever possible?

Nothing he can do to become TBE IMO, not enough talent in his ERA

He was BY FAR the most talented guy in his ERA and sadly nobody has came along with just as much talent to challenge him and become his RIVAL. Then the guys who possibly had the talent and/or the skills to match he did not fight them

Having Prime Cotto, Margarito, Paul Williams, Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest on his Resume would have made it at least DEBATABLE!

Mayweather will be lucky if he finishes in the Top 20 All Time In My Opinion...Beating Pacquiao don't do much because even 6 years ago and up until now, MOST are picking him to beat Pacquiao FOR A REASON!

He'd be the best ever if cleaned out welterweight when it was red hot around 2006-2010. Instead lil Floydie retired. There's nothing he can do to be in the conversation now.

That ship already sailed, and he missed it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that boat has sailed. Had he fought Williams, Margarito, Cotto, Pac, and maybe even Martinez all in their primes he could've been in that conversation

His window for that mantle has passed. Retire undefeated or not, he's going down as a really, really, good fighter, but no Sugar Ray Robinson or even Leonard.

I'd say he could still crack top 10 if he beat Pac right now and somehow ended up fighting and beating Golovkin, IF Pacquiao kept going and beating good fighters and Golovkin went on to have a HOF career. We'll see how Alvarez's career turns out from here and how much that helps. And he'd have a real argument for being the best fighter ever.

Does anyone think that's actually happening, though? And even then it's hard to ignore the lack of names compared to who the top tier ATGs have beat.

Floyd cant even compare to Leonard......He had a chance to surpass Leonard but he chose to not fight the best....

How many prime fighters have he fought? How many HOF fighters have he fought.....even if he didnt retire fought all those WWs he still wouldnt be TBE

Floyd isnt even close to being the best 147 fighter
