Froch wants a fight in Vegas and Bernard is a very popular fighter in the states and would be able to deliver that gift to froch Hopkins is still arguably the 3rd best light heavy in boxing, and would be moving down 7 lbs to fight the 168 lb champ. Froch is scared. He said himself he wouldn't want to lose his belt and give his legacy to a 50 yr old. He is really taking the easy way out by challenging the 0 dimensional Chavez Jr. Who might end up getting KO'd himself against fonfara. #war Hopkins #fight Hopkins #fight pacquiao #sign the contract #Floydcott

Seemed to handle losing to Kessler quite well.

Hopkins IS OLD. He's 50. The point is that Froch gets no credit for the victory so why bother? Because it's a great payday? Whoops wrong again.

Froch is a PUNK. Always has been. His career highlights are Groves and Taylor. SMH

His saving grace is a iron chin and a magnetic DOUCHE BAG persona. LOL
Usually don't chime in on these arguments, but whether you like it or not, Froch is the A-side. Yes Ward is the #1 guy, but whoever fights in front of 80,000 people is clearly the A-side, because it damn sure wasn't Groves who put most of those people in those seats.

No he's not. When was the last time he actually fought in Vegas? No one wants to watch him fight. He's had to go to Canada to fight the likes of Pascal and he went to New Jersey to fight Kovalev where there's a big Russian community. Now he wants to come to Nottingham. The fight doesn't go to Vegas and isn't on HBO PPV. That's the reality.

Quite well , it took him around a year to admit he lost .

I don't care to much for Froch but i don't blame him for not wanting to fight Bhop. If he fights and wins then everybody will say he beat an old man.If he loses then he will be called over rated because he lost to an old man.Its a lose-lose situation. He would have to KO Bhop to get any credit for the fight. He cant KO Bhop and the fight between them would look bad as everybody knows Bhop makes any fight he is in look bad. This would be another thing that would be held against him for fighting Bhop, that he let an old fight make him look bad even in winning.Hope this make sense to people.

Froch is a British fighter who rarely fights outside the U.K. & is at the end of his career. Hopkins is way past the end of his career, and recently lost a championship fight to Kovalev. A fight between them will not generate much money. Even though Bhop is old, he's still crafty, so it's a risk to fight him with little reward. There are younger fighters out there who offer similar or greater risk, with potentially greater reward for Froch's legacy and bank account. Given all of these facts, why would Froch fight Hopkins?

I love how Froch dangled the carrot of a final payday in front of him and then took it away. Hilarious

It's so embarrassing and they don't even realise.

He is literally begging for a pay day.
