I wouldn't go as far as the Cotto comparison because the light heavyweights had functional legs and fought at the divisional limit, but I definitely think Hop's style shuts down Stevenson's.

          Very Amusing

Calzaghe has got to be laughing his head off and licking his chops, begging and hoping Froch takes the bait so Froch can see just how difficult it is to fight a Legend like Hopkins.

Even at 50, Hopkins has got Froch second guessing his ability to win and neutralize a fighter of Hopkins Pedigree. I see the angle, and I know the fear that is in Froch's heart. Calzaghe see's the angle too, and its clear:

Froch is in a very difficult situation hear, a fight with Hopkins WILL BE compared to his fellow British undefeated Legend in Calzaghe. Not only does Froch NEED TO WIN this fight, but he will have to do it in a more convincing fashion than Calzaghe did....

Why? because Hopkins is 50!!!!!! lol, I mean if your suppose to be this great fighterin Froch, you should be able to beat a 50 year old Legend, especially 1 coming off a Loss, a loss where he was COMPLETELY DOMINATED from rd1 to rd12.

Over the years Froch and Calzaghe have gone back and forth, sniping at each other in the media, and on occasion Froch has stated that despite Calzaghe's record that he had the better resume, fought the tougher fighter's etc......So then if that's the case and Froch is now between a rock and a hard place with an opportunity to fight a Legend, 1 that Calzaghe beat even when Hopkins was a lot younger, He doesn't really have much choice considering Chavez is tide up, and would be considered the easier opposition either way.....

He's gone on record saying he would be VERY INTERESTED AND EXCITED to fight a guy like Hopkins and then did a U-turn it appears when the opportunity was there to take.......

          Dear Froch,

I have followed your career, and I have rooted for you, as a matter of fact you are and have been 1 of my favorite fighters, Love your Style and SWAG!! But the writing is on the wall, the dice have been rolled and this is how the placements on the Board have landed after the dust has settled. YOU HAVE 2 CHOICES:

          1. Fight Hopkins and try and kick his 50yr old ass which I personally feel if you take this VERY VERY SERIOUS, you will be able to, mostly because Hopkins is 50. Styles make fights and Hopkins is slow and old enough that you will be able to at least pummel his body , hit him everywhere, arms, shoulders, chest....and break his old ass down, maybe even KO him.

          2. Duck Hopkins and forever tarnish your Legacy, and Trust me lol..Calzaghe is watching and waiting with baited breathe to see what you do, and analyze the outcome.

The World of Boxing is watching, you've backed yourself into this corner, now all you have to do is accept the challenge, or not.

Froch, its time for 1 more call of the warrior, time to go back into the trenches, back into Hell for 1 more survival of the fittest challenge.

You can see it as a set-up, which it might be, or you can view it as another opportunity to prove without a shadow of a doubt that you belong mentioned with the Best.

I know what your thinking, If you lose to Hopkins it will seem like all was for nothing, because if you cant beat Hopkins at 50, then whomever you claimed was a tough opponent in the past, Calzaghe would have then also been able to beat them, and probably more convincing.

In other words it won't matter that Calzaghe may be seen as facing lesser competition, he will be viewed BY FAR as the greater British talent, and there wont even be a close 2nd.

... Please don't be so harsh with B-Hop...
... B-Hop is a big legend -- it's hard for him to just hang them up...
... The fact that Kovalev treated him with utmost deference made B-Hop think that he "still has it"...

I believe that your overzealous hatred for Bhop has made you goofy in the brain and it must suck for Khan because apparently he also has no fan base.
Overzealous hatred? Lol calm down love. I just stated facts which you can't refute. If the fighter's net worth had anything to do with making the fight then why is Hopkins begging Froch? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Fact is that Froch made 9 or 10 times what Hopkins did in his last fight. Hopkins knows that Froch is the A-side and is the one with the fanbase. You seem to be the only one that doesn't want to acknowledge that. Hopkins is a name, he doesn't have much of a fanbase.

Hopkins has ducked all of those fighters too.

Oh except Kovalev, who put him on his arse.

You're supposed to be a Hopkins fan and you said that Hopkins has never been put on his arse but Kovalev did it in his LAST FIGHT.
