Yes you do. Stop spamming this forum with inappropriate topics. You're always telling others to use the forum properly, so do so. This belongs in the history section.
....And are you seriously trying to tell us that this isnt just another one of your lame attempts at sucking floyd off?

Fat Lazza is so hot and bothered over his boy being routinely derided as a runner. It genuinely bothers him, which is why he's created multiple threads over the years whining about people criticising boxers for being "runners."Comment

This is what I meant in my first post, that's just not true. That fight was still close. There was an entire half of the fight left to go. Duran wasn't getting dominated but that's the myth born that night for whatever reason.
That's why Duran quitting was so inexplicable and why he was treated so harshly. If he was getting his ass kicked in a one-sided fight no one would wonder why he quit.Comment

Just like old Roman days, warriors are showered with gifts in return for entertainment. Thats the name of the game, and will always be.
The buyer demands to see boxing skills, punches beeing thrown, if theres more running than punching, the buyer feels like he did not get what he paid for, as he could pay to watch athletes only run around the track if he wanted to see an athletes running capabilities.
Or if the buyer goes to the track meet and only sees athletes punching, he would too feel cheated in the same way, as he paid to see the skills dominantly found in the sport and expects to get what he paid good money for.
Fighters choose to entertain for a living, if that is too cruel so be it, theres other carreers that are much less dangerous, like Golf and Tennis, or even sitting behind a desk.Last edited by ElMeroChingon; 02-10-2015, 01:10 PM.Comment

There wasn't anything masterful about Leonard's performance. The fight was still up in the air as you say up until that akward ending.I don't feel comfortable calling it either. Leonard wasn't really running, but I can't call it master boxing. The reason people are still so confused about Duran quitting and hold it against him so badly is because the fight was very much up in the air at that point. Hard to call it master boxing when the fight was close.Comment
