To be honest i dont even care, LSC sucks and always has. It would of been fun to see Rigo break his face like he said but i much rather see rigo fight frampton or quigg even though they are ducking Rigo as well.

Boxing's death in America can be attributed to the sport being banished to subscription cable channels HBO and SHO which cost $10-20 per month each and only reach 20-30 million American households each. This has caused mainstream knowledge and appeal of boxers to disappear in America. It is so bad that the biggest fights in boxing generate 1.5M total viewers or 300,000 on PPV.

Haymon is trying to bring boxing back into the mainstream by airing boxing's best on broadcast and cable TV channels that are available to 90-120 million Americans. Hopefully this increases America's awareness of boxing, leads to more viewers, more sponsors, more money. Hopefully this brings more American talent into the sport as well.

The reason boxing ended up getting shoved to subscription channels and PPV was due to the greed of the fighters and promoters. I am not sure what Haymon has planned but bringing boxing back to the mainstream TV while at the same time promising fighters giant purses does not seem sustainable in any way shape or form.

Free TV generates money from commercials. The amount they get per commercial depends on how much viewers they can get. Getting 1-2 million viewers per show, cannot feed a card with purses adding up into the millions. Someone is going to lose money and eventually throw up their hands and walk.

Well I don't think Danny deserved even $100k for fighting Rod Salka. Hell he got $700k for that fight. Although the otherside is Salka got over $100k so that is a damn good payday for him.
