Not only is the Garcia vs Peterson fight bogus but how can anyone call Peterson a better fighter than Mattysee and Provo when he has yet to beat one top ten Super Welter Weight.

It's a great fight between two of the best JWW's in the world but I agree that without the titles on the line the fight loses some of its significance.

Yeah I thought his father made that CLEAR, not sure why people just assumed that would change. Then he tried to price himself out by asking for $3 Million...clearly he did not want the Rigo fight, to be fair not many people in that division does.

Winner of Frampton vs Avalos won't fight him either and neither will Quigg!

Forget him, he has the heart of a coward, chose the wrong career path.

IF he puts on equally or near equally competitive fights on NBC, then he will be looked upon as doing a good job. However, if it turns out like every Fox Sports FS1 show or worse, every Telemundo/Telefutura show where a guy with a 16-0 or 21-1 constantly fights a 17-6 fighter, or a 5-0 or 8-0 fighter constantly fights a 3-2-1 fighter, there will be an outrage. Lets hope fights like Guerrero vs Thurman and Garcia vs Peterson or other fights on a lessor level that are equal matchups are the norm and not the exception, whether NBC or one of his other network outlets. My guess is very simple - he has to protect his investments and that means protecting his fighters to the point where they fight setups until they have to step up due to ranking or because his guys are mandatories or in line for a title fight or because of public outcry. Lets see if he puts them in tough which seems to go against his agenda of investments. We will see.

Now that fight is never going to happen. LSC will continue to avoid Rigo at all costs

With this new deal Leo's dad is adding "Al" as his middle name.
                    Wish granted!

How exactly is this a horrible decision by Oscar? Are you familiar with what a buyout clause is?
