come on man, if you are upset al is actually doing good things for the sport then its best you do go to MMA.
Ok dude. I'm a boxing fan. I don't generally give two ****s about agents and promoters and who makes what, etc... I just want to see good fights. So please (you or somebody else) explain to me like I'm five what it is that Haymon's doing that will advance that agenda, because it is not apparent to me.

We got mattyssee provo but provo is not really a top rank fighter he just co promotes its not bobs decision who provo fights. well see i just dont buy that haymon didnt plan to do this anyway
How Is it a pathetic attempt to look haymon look bad? Haymon does a great job of making himself look pathetic. Oscar was just telling it like it is. Haymon is the protective custody of boxing. Didn't you read the article? Lsc said less than a month ago he wanted to stay with golden boy and I read that article too. Now that Oscar is doing the right thing and making the hard fights that the fans want to see, lsc runs to haymon who will continue to feed him cherry picks.

Also, they have already made a top rank golden boy fight. It was on the undercars of timothy Bradley and Diego Chavez. Mauricio Herrera fought Jose Benavidez Jr. Its not like it was a b.s. Fight either because they are both near the top ten at LWW. Oscar even went to the top rank press conference for the fight. Why u so mad at bob arum and Oscar? They're the ones who care about the fans and who also want to develop their fighters unlike haymon who is holding his fighters back and not developing them into real big time fighters

I get that he stalled all these fights last year and gave us absolute crap. My best guess is because of the ODH lawsuit.

Haymon has a whole year of cards to fill. You think he's gonna blow all the best fights now?
It appears as if he is building up to big fights for his fighters. That's how boxing has always worked. If he puts on all crap he hurts himself and makes no money.

Boxing's death in America can be attributed to the sport being banished to subscription cable channels HBO and SHO which cost $10-20 per month each and only reach 20-30 million American households each. This has caused mainstream knowledge and appeal of boxers to disappear in America. It is so bad that the biggest fights in boxing generate 1.5M total viewers or 300,000 on PPV.

Haymon is trying to bring boxing back into the mainstream by airing boxing's best on broadcast and cable TV channels that are available to 90-120 million Americans. Hopefully this increases America's awareness of boxing, leads to more viewers, more sponsors, more money. Hopefully this brings more American talent into the sport as well.

Boxing coming back to tv was supposed to be a good thing now it just looks like where all cowards are running of to hide. Hell will freeze over before i support that b/s. Props to De la Hoya for trying to put the best possible fights around together it seems like an easy way to expose pussies.

its just business only. oscar is mad because of the buy-out. rigo has nothing to do with this. the fight can still happen on showtime,or the haymon NBC,spike tv,CBS.or ESPN deals. De la hoya is butt-hurt. he better hope alvared does'nt lose to kirkland.

That's clear but why is he a sucker for fighters like LSC, why the hell this guy defends them from any serious challange and sticks to them? Does he really think that these guys have star potential? Don't make me laugh...
If he will protect these guys all in their carreer, they won't be stars. That's how it works, you can't make stars out of guys who never figh anyone worth to mention. You can be the smartes motherfucker on the Earth but without real challanges you can't make stars. And why he doesn't sign then fighters who are better than Quillin or LSC and make the fights in house? Like Rigo, GGG, etc...?
If he plays monopoly then he should play it well and doesn't own just the half of the good fighters. Or if he owns just the half of them then don't play monopoly.

And lol if someone think that Haymon's goal is to uprise boxing for the fans and make it to mainstream again for the viewers and for the sport. The guy does it ONLY for himself, not for anything else, if it ends up to be good for boxing that just a side-effect of his plans. It's actually just a tool for his greediness.
He is just as greedy as Arum, Don King and the others, the difference is just he is probably smarter than them.

PS: I ask again: Why do you think that Walters will join Haymon?

It's better mostly for the fact that Garcia-Petersen should be a unification bout but it's not and both guys are gonna walk away their titles. I thought non-title matches between champions was strictly a pro-wrestling thing.
