    17. Earnie Shavers
    18. Vitali Klitschko
    19. Max Baer
    20. Wladmir Klischko

Why is Wladmir officially ranked so low?

He fought no one. There is no question that the heavyweight division in which he reigned was the absolute WORST in boxing history, with fighters who wouldn't even qualify as sparring partners for Ken Norton and Ingemar Johannson.

He has been much bigger than the pygmies that he has fought yet still can't look good against them.

    He has zero chin.

    He is slow.

Why is Wladmir very unpopular and can't even get PPV in the United States, a nation that has a very long tradition of great (Robinson, Armstrong, Leonard, Tyson, Pep, etc.) and high caliber boxing?

    He is boring.

Boring in personality (like a real Frankenstein)

Boring in style (like Mayweather but at least Floyd knows how to promote himself outside the ring as a "heel")

Just basically no charisma from Wladmir

If you have any questions about Wladmir, I'll be here to answer them.
wlad is slow? lol,,,,think u need to watch more of his fights

i don't understand this....theres something called "amateur boxing" and the soviets truly indeed competed in amateur boxing (you can't deny and hide that like you do in the pros no matter how much you b*tch) the greats ran through the soviets even in their boring point and score like style.

from fraizer to ali to foreman. foreman actually almost killed 6'6 soviet Chepulis..........look at what A 6'0 fraizer did to 6'8 soveit champ Yemelyanov (knocked him completely out)

i have no clue where you guys pull this none sense from. those guys were great for real and the soviets didn't create much of a challenge if any.........

Amateur boxing pre 75 was very very different from today.

Almost like pro fighting, except the Soviet's had the same point scoring style that many of them have today too.

Lewis and Wlad should be much higher, Frazier is a legend but Lewis achieved much more in his era than Frazier, Tyson and Liston.

Klitschko is much much better than Shavers, Baer, Bowe, Patterson, Walcott some of these guys weren't even the number 1 guys in their era! Additionally as much as I think Jack Johnson was a pioneer of boxing I don't think he belongs on any list that includes top Heavyweights because the rules of boxing were so different even from the days of Dempsey. Some of his fights were scheduled for 45 rounds, others for only 6, some for 20.
