Uhhhhh...yes he does Jeff. Unless you want your nephew to retire and have everyone ask "why didn't he fight pac?" That's is what he'll be remembered for. Not fighting the best

NO ONE Thinks Floyd is TBE & that won't change win or lose...The same holds true for Pac...Their respective legacies are etched in stone...This fight is probably happening 5yrs too late to effect any unbiased historical placement...
That's not true, if Manny beats Floyd which he would he would have to be regarded at least top 5 of all time if not the best. And remember, he still has fights left under contract with top rank. He could potentially beat Floyd, amir khan, maybe canelo, Mikey Garcia, Terance Crawford. Manny is in great shape and I wouldn't be surprised if he has 5-6 good wins left un him. Floyd on the other hand doesn't have a signature win against a prime elite fighter at their best weight. He pulled Marquez up from lightweight and came in overweight, he beat cotto after pacquiao had demolished him in his prime. His best win sad to say is canelo. Manny on the other hand was the first to knock out Barrera and did it twice, first to knock out Morales and beat him 2/3, beat prime Marquez at his best weight 2/2. Knocked out prime cotto. And schooled Tim Bradley twice. Those I think are his best wins and they were all against prime elite fighters at their best weight. Floyd can't hold a candle to that.

Floyd ducking top opposition is nothing new, it started way before Manny. He clearly ducked margarito when he was the best ww, Paul Williams when he was on top, Miguel cotto in his prime, obviously Manny pacquiao, and the list goes on and on.

I agree, Floyd doesn't need Manny but he needs more Money and Manny will bring more money to the table, its all about the money, Money overcomes fear. That's a fact!

Money and legacy are two different things.

Its not bias its the truth. Name one prime elite fighter mayweather has fought at their best weight? If you consider canelo elite than that would be the only one. Manny has not only beat a bunch of elites and atgs in their prime at their best weight class, hes also knocked a handful of them out. There's no comparison. Mannys record is clearly far superior to floyds and I don't see how that's even a debate
