You want to know who'll be holding the title ransom now? It'll be one of YOUR fighters! Because you know the moment you face a Euro or even maybe a pommy boxer.. Your title is gone.
Unlike you I don't root for fighters for the simple fact of where they were born.. I love watching ferocious heavyweights slugging it out without hugging every two seconds

I love Carl Froch(WHite guy) Miguel Cotto (Rican) Manny Pacquiao (Pinoy)

    my three favorite active fighters

    I dislike Wladimir (Caucasian Robot)

Same again.I'm not a soccer fan"so i don't support someone because they're European or American" or a racist if Wladimir was in epic boxing battles rather than Epic close to gay **** clinching I'd show more respect

Lewis ducked Byrd? Byrd was a threat to Lewis?

Byrd was 5 inches shorter than Lewis, and had a 10 inch reach advantage. He also didn't have the power to hurt Lewis.

I dont think he was shot, lennox became better with age. But he wasnt at his best either in my opinion. i think he was still the best guy in the division at that age, but he was out of shape for that fight and didnt train enough either, he was overweight against a prime vitali and still beat him up lol.

He wasnt shot but he was overweight and out of shape too.

If anybody wants to know why Lennox Lewis didn't fight Byrd, take a look at how Wladimir dismantled Byrd.

Then look at the $1 million King paid Lewis.

There was no interest in a Lewis-Byrd fight...least of all from Lewis, who really just wanted the money a second Tyson fight at that point.

So Lewis who was preparing for a world championship fight was out of shape, while Vitali who was preparing for an undercard fight was in great conditioning?

            Outstanding logic.

Lewis was training for Kirk Johnson...who he clearly didn't respect enough to get in shape for.

Vitali wasn't supposed to be until December...but the Harpooned Whale got injured and HBO threw in some more money for Lewis-Vitali instead.

Vitali, rightly, was the much hungrier fighter at that point of his career..as he should have been...his career had been a disappointment up until that point after the Byrd debacle, and he was gearing up for his two biggest fights of his career (Cedric Boswell in June on the Lewis-Johnson undercard leading to Lewis in December).

And the one thing you have to credit the Klitscho's for...unlike big heavyweights like Bowe and Lewis, the Klitschko's always come into fights looking like they're in peak physical conditioning.

Lennox was done until he tore Vitali's eye open.

Lewis to a significant degree was doing to his shorter opponents what later Wlad Klichko was overusing - lean on them to tire them out. The problem he had with Vitaliy - he wasn't shorter and at the same time he wasn't scared like Akinwande. Therefore Lewis had to go through his gas tank at much higher pace. Vitaliy was cut, but he himself was barely walking by the end of 6. Not because he was shot, but because of the match-up.

                      LOL 'steelfisted'.

Bottomline is that Lewis was past his prime and not in his best shape while Vitali was in his absolute prime, in better shape and despite the short notice had been preparing for a fight against Lewis for a long time.
