I didn't realize that Mayweather didn't release the PPV numbers for the Guerrero fight either... only "projected" numbers were released then Maidana 1 got released with the most expensive undercard ever and didn't hit a mil...

Why doesn't Floyd release his PPV numbers but criticize Manny's?

The money isn't as important as dictating the terms is to Floyd; the guaranteed $250m Showtime deal, with no tax/liquidity issues to worry about, has basically made that clear.

Cotto and Khan are both fights that he gets on his terms, while still making a ton of money. The same can't be said for Pacquiao.

This fight would be the biggest grossing fight of all time. It does not matter what the previous ppv numbers were for either fighter. A person would have to be a complete idiot to think this fight would not be the biggest boxing event in last several years. If Floyd doesn't make fight he is a complete chump. Clown. Embarrassment to the all time greats. It should have been made four years ago.

LOL Always selling Floyd fights with expensive undercards and then comparing PPV numbers... you continue to make the typical FIomo mistake of ignoring what Floyd would get for the Cotto fight guaranteed..it'd be 31 mil with no raise... Floyd-Cotto would fight under Mayweather Promotions..so the undercard is going to be awful... the fight has flop written all over it.. Cotto beat a club fighter and and old, inactive coming-off of injury Martinez..before those two fights he lost to Trout... But Floyd doesn't criticize people he's actually going to fight so you won't hear about that.. Floyd only criticizes people he's going to duck...

If all it took was adding an expensive undercard to actually do far better business, maybe someone should've told Arum about that before flopping with the Pacquiao-Algieri fight.

Mayweather-Cotto would be under Mayweather Promotions ... with the near entire slate of Haymon-affiliated fighters and Haymon-friendly promoters to work with. You put up a $2m budget, which isn't unreasonable, for three undercard fights and you likely end up with better fights than anything Top Rank would be willing to pay for.

i've saw that pic before but i always thought and heard it was photoshopped and floyd looks just like that in another pic so i believed it...and isnt floyd taller than arum in reall life..check that pic and he's not...but anyways bob arum stopped 2 fights thats when floyd said he was an issue..
