It seems that Floyd is on the same page with Arum... Floyd wants to wait until that outdoor stadium is built ROFL:

According to David Mayo, who writes for the Michigan-based MLive news site — which covers Grand Rapids native Mayweather closely — one other factor also points toward 2016 as the likely time frame for the long-awaited Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao superfight.

“There also is a new 20,000-seat arena under construction on Las Vegas Boulevard, expected to be completed by early 2016,” Mayo notes. “It long has been speculated that Mayweather-Pacquiao would be an ideal fit for the new venue, which would seat about 4,000 more for boxing than MGM Grand Garden Arena, where Mayweather has fought exclusively since 2007.”

Floyd, as he's done with every fight negotiation in recent history, is letting the deal be hammered out at the table.

The fact that Arum has Pacquiao parroting that 60/40 has been agreed to, while Stephen Espinoza has argued that terms are still being negotiated and Haymon, Moonves, the point person at HBO, Hershman, etc are all keeping quiet, the only real conclusion to draw is that things are still being discussed.

Floyd took 25/75 and Oscar's choice of gloves, among other terms, to make the fight.

Floyd wants to fight Manny; Manny wants to fight Floyd. Even if comes to 70/30, if Pacquiao really "fight for the fans", he'll push Arum to accept the terms on the table, rather than working to spin the press.

Why stop at 70/30? 95/5 will not be a problem if Pac really wants the fight.

FIomos love any excuse not to make the fight as long as the excuse is applied to the current negotiations... afterwards they'll use it to blame Arum...

Pac could fight Khan too. regardless, we know that Mayweather can make money with other fights. That is not in dispute. What is in dispute now is whether he actually cares about what boxing fans want and whether he actually cares about his legacy. If he doesn't fight Pacquiao in May, we will know the answer to both questions

Unless I missed something Khan still has his exclusive deal with Showtime, while also just agreeing to a deal with Sky Sports in the UK.

You add that Khan will likely command near all of the UK money (Arum's relationship with BoxNation will complicate those talks too) and want a significant chunk of the US money too makes the ideas of those negotiations just as spotty as the talks for a fifth Marquez fight.

Pacquiao could fight Khan, whether Arum allows that fight to happen (with Khan having capable management on his side and the prospect the massive Wembley fight with Kell Brook, I doubt that he'd be all that desperate to bend either) is the real question.
