Floyd is still whining about working with another non-Haymon controlled promoter...

Haymon monopoly = further marginalization of boxing...

I will say Haymon's NBC card is a good one..but after that card.. I'd be surprised if you see anything like it again...

Danny Garcia v. Lamont Peterson is a terrible fight... but the promoters and "advisor" control both so they are pumping that fight out to the media... the media is not knowledgeable about boxing...

Why would Garcia want to fight a known PED cheat who was KOed by Lucas.. when Pacquiao and other fighters are out there? Umm it's obvious... promoter and advisor are the same... Garcia will end up using Golden Boy..because no other option right now until another company forms...

That's good for team Haymon, it's crazy how this guy has signed all these fighters, TR and GBP need to start scouting and signing fighters to their stable ASAP.

That hasn't happened to Haymon at all. Not even one fighter. I dont see any similarities in how they treat their fighters.
My point in bringing up King was to show how fighter's will sign with a guy who has a bad history, just because he also has a good history. King had Tyson generating those famous paydays, just like Haymon has Floyd, and that'll attract fighters period.

I don't expect Al to get in trouble with stealing from the fighters. He doesn't need the money and besides there's investor involved and while it's one thing to short change an uneducated/under represented fighter, you go to prison when you try to steal from rich people. The Roc Nation offers could become an issue in 2-3 years if those fighters who received an offer aren't seeing similar payoffs.

Haymon's been sued by an entertainer, but not a boxer, yet. It's still early and his role is changing. Matthysse recently left Haymon because he didn't like his treatment. That went uncontested, maybe because the contract was clear and he could, or maybe because Haymon doesn't want bad publicity during this sensitive stage. Now Khan wants to fight Pacquiao, that may be another big test for Haymon. His business plan has recently trumped the best interest of some his fighters recently, if that continues he'll have some more things in common with Don King other than their both from Cleveland.

Don't know any of these fighters apart from Savigne, a 36 year old who is in line for a shot at Stevenson.

20 dates on NBCUniversal (NBC/NBCSN), another 9 dates on the former TNN, at least 10 dates on Showtime, possibly another 10-15 dates for ShoBox, and easily another 20 dates on ESPN. To that you can add the two Mayweather PPV cards and possibly 2-3 more PPVs (Froch-Chavez/Khan-Brook double header, Stevenson's mandatory defense against the Kovalev-Pascal winner, Wilder-Klitschko, etc).

And this is just for 2014. Likely 75 TV dates, when things are all said and done.

Not every Haymon fighter is going to be on TV every fight, but there's enough dates for guys to be as active as their handlers and health would have them be.

Why go through the hassle of establishing your own title, when the guys that you have under your umbrella comprise ~70% of the fighters ranked by the main governing bodies (WBC/WBA/IBF)?

Mandatory challengers could complicate things a bit, but not that much.

Cons: What will happen with other fighters under other promotional companies? I speak about a many fighters now. I don't include Pac, Froch, JMM and Hopkins cause I think they will retire one year later but: Roman Gonzalez, Estrada, Rigo, Frampton, Loma, Walters, Gradovich, Mikey Garcia, Crawford, Provo, Algieri, Matthysse, Brook, Bradley, Canelo, Golovkin, Cotto, Ward, Groves, Kovalev, Makabu, Pascal, Mchunu, Usyk, Huck, Wlad, Jennings, Perez, Povetkin, Pulev, Joshua...

And I surely forgot about some names. The big question: Will the NBC showcase them too or they'll only showcase the Haymon fighters. Any chance for a non Haymon fighter to get in this PBC world (league?)? Because we talk about many good/great fighters here. A legaue would be cool where the best fights the best but not a league where only the Haymon's best fights the Haymon's best and no chance at all that they will fight any other fighters under different promotional companies. It would be horribel if Haymon would separate his fighters even more and make the cold war even more colder.
                  Simple.

If you don't or aren't willing to work with Haymon, you get frozen out. So, if you fight for Top Rank or Golden Boy or Main Events, or have an exclusive deal with HBO, life might end up looking pretty bleak, especially if Haymon ends up with near all of the belts.

Also, a significant number of the guys in your above list are with Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Sport), arguably the top UK promoter and a guy with a budding realtionship with Haymon (Froch, Brook, Joshua, DeGale, Groves, etc should be more than welcome into the Haymon universe).

For the rest of the guys, I see some major decisions happening when their respective contracts come due.

The UFC has been finding out it's hard achieving both of those aspects in the non premium cable market.

While I do hope he achieves a single champion/division sport, where we don't have to deal with politics as a regular factor in making fights, and is able generate and sustain mainstream interest, his history has given me too many reservations to jump on board just yet.
The UFC's mistake was putting the brand before the fighters, imo, while also over saturating the market with too many shows.

Haymon's hedged against that, in the short term anyway, by having 60% of his guys being young developing prospects.
