This. I can't see it anywhere else than StubHub. It's the perfect arena for such a fight

It's also the type of match up where, once it's finished, you remain stone faced and in awe for several minutes before slowly uttering "Boxing...I love you..."

Both fighters have power and can knockout low level fighters, but I based my opinion on the quality of fighters they fought. Like Provo-Bradley and Lucas-D Garcia

Bradley proved himself he had a granite chin when he fought Pacquiao. Provo knockdown him while Pacquiao can't. And we all know that PAcquiao had a power in WW that can knockdown a bigger opponents (Cotto, Mosley). Pacquiao landed pretty good shots against Bradley but he can't knockdown him at all.

Danny's chin need more test against elite fighters before I can say he has a granite chin (Sure, Danny handled Morales punch, but that Morales was shot already). Matthysse didn't even knockdown Danny in their fight.

Matthysse will fight toe2toe there. He is not Mauricio H, who will punch then clinch. He is not Algeiri, who will use his lateral movements and long reach to avoid Provo's Punches. And he is not Bradley who can BOX pretty well if he wants too.

Still this is a close fight and anything can happen inside the ring. I'm excited for this

You are not wrong, but you are too focused on power and chin in my opinion.

When two big punchers meet , usually it's not about who has the biggest punch, but who can land it more consistently.

And Matthysse, altough not a great technician, looks much more well schooled than Provo.

I actually expect some lateral movement and "boxing" from Matthysse.

Provo has advantage too, his trainer Roach.

Edit:And remember, Provo's Losses was against mid/long range fighters. He won all his toe2toe fights. I think this is an advantage for him too.

Matthysse, while the better boxer, isn't so good that he can get through this fight without suffering damage of his own. He'll have his moments for sure, but ultimately he's getting bombed out. Nothing but credit to both for taking this fight if it is indeed being made so quickly. At least there's still a few men left in this sport.
Who does Ruslan bomb out though? At the top level, almost everyone goes 12 with him. Herrera, Corley, Bradley, Algieri all went 12 and he didn't stop Alvarado who actually quit on his stool. He took 9 rounds to get an old Augustus out, 5 rounds to get an ancient Castillo out.

I like both fighters, they arguably only have one defeat between them and that under the duress of injury, but I really think Matthysse has the advantage in this one.
