Great fight. Prov's face holds up for 9 rounds and he wins by KO. I really don't think anybody at 140 can slug with Prov. Matthysse is not the kind of boxer Algieri or Herrera is.

I actually hope it goes to Showtime. I would feel better if some of their $20-$30mill budget goes towards some real fights.

The idea that Santa Cruz just got $750k to fight a low level opponent, when that's probably about what Provodnikov & Matthysse will get a piece to fight one another is sickening.

I don't normally care how much a fighter gets but hope both guys are well paid for this bout if it happens.
