povetkin has good solid but not great power. dont understand how you cant see that. hes fought some durable guys. his power is good

Wilder got more power than povetkin, longer reach and a better jab. He would jab povetkin early then flurry and knock his ass out or keep him at range and make him freeze up like stiverne, it will go alot like the wlad fight.

And at ppl saying tyson fury lmao hes not impressive at all. Clumsy, awkward and slow with a suspect jaw and little power
povetkin has much better balance and better textbook combinations than wilder and is also a better body puncher. the only thing wilder has over povetkin is the jab and power. I really think povetkin would get through some tough early rounds and drown wilder late. tough fight tho

Povetkin based on his own performance against Klitschko. Wlad used a lot of clinching and shoving in that fight. I think he would have beaten Povetkin anyway, but clearly he knew the Russian had something. Also Povetkin has faced quality opposition. Wilder would have a good shot against him, but I think Povetkin would probably be too much at this point.

Those voting Wilder are really riding the hype train now. Stiverne wasn't alright apparently during their fight, and Wilder still didn't knock him out. It wasn't some amazing performance he put on, either.

I was more amazed at how awful stiverne was than anything wilder was able to do. wilder has some pop but I still think there's several heavies that would beat him. hes so wild and off balance

Hmm yeah additionally Povetkin has also an iron chin too, never even being KD'd before in over 300 fights until he met Wladimir, whom he survived as well!

It's highly doubtful Wilder could hurt Povetkin worse than Stiverne who would never show up to the ring in such poor health (if that's true) or atleast with such a dismal performance regardless!

I think the Wilder/Stiverne fight proved a lot about Wilder but it also exposed his power as being nothing extravagant when viewed against the better+tougher boxers of the division.

Yes, Povetkin took some bombs from Takem too and yet stayed on his feet.

As of right now, Wilder. In a couple of years, probably Joshua. Povetkin is 35 years old and on his way out.

He has remained strong and picked up a couple good KO wins recently, he is the second strongest still just based on performances. Fury and Wilder should fight.
