Wilder got more power than povetkin, longer reach and a better jab. He would jab povetkin early then flurry and knock his ass out or keep him at range and make him freeze up like stiverne, it will go alot like the wlad fight.

And at ppl saying tyson fury lmao hes not impressive at all. Clumsy, awkward and slow with a suspect jaw and little power
I would disagree povetkin has a fantastic, well schooled jab. I don't think wilders jab is as good as sasha's it would be a solid fight. Sasha IMO is no2 followed by Fury, wilder and pulev

He may not be as sharp after his long period of inactivity (over 2 1/2 years).

Lol...Wilder might make Povetkin quit on his stool. Not even that I'm that high on Wilder, styles make fights. Good luck working behind the jab when the other guy's straight has a half foot of reach on your jab. Wilder following that Breland gameplan will shutout a guy like Povetkin.

Povetkin by a long shot, but he's definitely not the biggest guy in the division so you always worry how long he can maintain that cemented #2 spot with pure skill and toughness.

One of the big guys who isn't Wlad is bound to break through soon, maybe Fury who has come quite a long way, perhaps Joshua down the line. I'm still not sold on Wilder & Pulev needs to face another top 5 guy.

Haye should come back. We've all had a laugh at his expense but this division could be on fire with a couple more names to throw at each other.

Not saying hes Tyson, but he could ko both Wilder and Fury.
He definitely has power. I've watched him. But I think he's too short for Wladimir, Wilder, and Fury. He would have to constantly try to get inside. No easy task.

To answer the question it's either Wilder or Fury and it's a distant second. I'm hoping they fight each other before facing Wlad.

I agree, I think Haye was great for the division. I am hoping he is still sharp after the layoff and can remain injury free.

In terms of Wilder, I am not completely sold he is even the best fighter in his own country yet. Even though Stiverne beat Arreola, I am certain Arreola could do much better. And even though Thompson is old now, he still stopped Price not long back and is a veteran boxer of proven skills.

In fact if not for age, I would tip Thompson to have beaten Wilder good a couple years back.

In terms of accomplishments it would be Povetkin, current ability possibly Wilder. In the future Joshua and Parker can be among the best.

Yeah I think Anthony Joshua has a very bright future.

But what happened against Wlad is that Povetkin got clinched as much as any fighter probably ever has in a 12 round fight. He got completely cheated.

Wilder doesn't clinch like that, so Povetkin will be able to actually fight rather than spend 36 minutes being made love to.
