I can't see it he turns 36 this year and Wlad looks like he will be fighting to his 40th birthday at least(barring a catastrophic skills drop or his chin turning into Bruce Seldon porcelain). If Povetkin becomes the undisputed champion after Wlad retires his window as the champion will be short because he will about the age Wlad is now. Plus whenever a champion has retired the alphabet soup organizations usually sanction 3 or 4 separate bouts for the titles.

I think povetkin is next best behind wlad. he gets underrated by some because of his terrible performance against huck. just about every good fighter has had an off night and struggled against an inferior opponent in there careers. povetkin is hands down the best combination puncher in the division

You mean the great American joke right?

Actually I shouldn't be hating on Wilder so much. He might be too much for Fury who knows as yet really and he might be the best HW in the US, although I'd still rate Arreola and Thompson maybe higher, depending. It isn't clear from that Stiverne affair.

Fury ain't no joke either though, not many boxers could potentially handle the giant pugilist.

What is this undeserved hype around Fury about? What has he done? Absolutely nothing. I'd love to see Anthony Joshua beat his ass and put an end to this myth that fury is a serious fighter.

He's not. Anyone out there would beat Fury.

Pov, Wilder, Jennings, Joshua, Haye take your pick.

Look who Fury is fighting next, Some Bum from Romania.

Ironically, the bum Fury is fighting next would be by far the hardest opponent Joshua has ever fought.

Christian Hammer is no bum, he is a good opponent. Better than all but a very few of Wilder's. Fury had fought better overall comp by far until Stiverne, and that victory is now a little tainted by the fact Stiverne was too sick to even fight (whether it made a difference is unclear) and the fact that Wilder's power was exposed as he couldn't knock the subsequent punch bag in front of him out.

The guys you listed are all the top HW boxers in the world, they might or might not beat Fury, you can make a case for or against any of them with Fury.

But to say that anyone could beat Fury is a bit rich. He's proven himself to be rather good actually. The ONLY question of Fury against Wilder, is whether Fury could handle the power he gets caught with from Wilder like Stiverne did. Because I don't see him getting hit nearly as often with it as Stiverne and I can't see Wilder "outboxing" Fury either. I think he can only win by KO.

So I'd like to ask you instead, what is your beef with Tyson Fury? I lightened up on Wilder, But Tyson is certainly nothing to joke about in this division.

Ha, read my post too Agreed here as well

I might as well retire these day's 80's, you seem to have it covered now

Some of these guys knock the resumes of top boxers which consist of opponents they've never even seen box, never checked their own record of or maybe never even heard of.

                  It's ridiculous!

What exactly makes you think Fury is any good?

Joshua is just building up to the bigger fights. He's knocked out everyone he faced inside 3 rounds with an average fight time of 1 minute 35 seconds

I don't understand why american fans are on Fury's nuts. He's a joke, A bum.

This is the best British Heavyweight.

I didn't say Fury was very good. I was pointing out the irony of your post saying Fury has done "absolutely nothing" and in the same breath touting Joshua.

Fury and Joshua are the same age.
Fury is 23-0 with "OK" wins over Chisora and Cunningham.
Joshua is 10-0 with no notable wins.

It's not that I disagree Joshua could go on to become better than Fury, just that your explanation makes absolute no sense.

I do not like Fury at all.
