True, Klitschko got away with an enormous amount of clinching in that fight.

And he should have been deducted points for throwing Povetkin down a couple of times, wrestler-style, but instead the ref counted them as knockdowns.

That list is the definition of a mixed bag not necessarily bad but it is hard to really say what is what. I like Wilder and certain attributes about him stand out along with his improved jab but he certainly is not any more proven than anyone on that list.

It will be a good race to see that.

Probably Wladmir but maybe, just maybe Deontay.

I dont think people realise this thread is about how capable you think these heavyweights would be to fight each other for number one spot... I personally think Anthony Joshua ruins the lot of them.. people are riding high on Pevetkin simply for his record,,you don't think Wilder and Joshua would spark all those people he's fought?? really tell me who on Povetkins record beats Joshua or Wilder???

in fact they'd beat every guy on Povetkins record and make it look a lot easier.. Povetkin is trash.. he fought Wlad like he was equal in height .. he fights big for a not so big heavyweight

Wilder doesn't clinch like that, so Povetkin will be able to actually fight rather than spend 36 minutes being made love to.
yes thats right Povetkin will be using that jab and keeping wilder at bay all night lolololololl

Povetkin can't keep a ferocious puncher off him and if he decides to trade and stalk for the kill he will walk into something big... he's too slow

Probably Povetkin right now, but it will be Joshua or Parker within 18 months. Still don't think much of Wilder.

                    Fights: 39. Wins: 20. Losses:18*. Draws: 1. Win rate: 51.3%

                    * 1 of those losses was against Tyson Fury again in the rematch (Chisora).

                    8. Bryant Jennings

Interesting stats : you can argue these figures (Jennings - Fury) to be equal to given that he fought Chisora twice.According to wins alone my assessment of Jennings surpasses Wilder, Pulev and former WBC champion Bermane Stiverne at this time.

I can't see Povetkin getting around the height and reach advantage of Wilder and Fury and he just doesn't have the pop to hurt either of them. If you include Haye it would be a toss up between him and Wilder at 2nd.
are you kidding me? povetkin has more than enough pop to hurt wilder or fury. if sconiers and cunningham can hurt them its only plainly obvious povetkin can more than just hurt them. id favor him against both in tough fights
