Briggs is more of a live dog than Jennings imo. At least Briggs has a strong punch.

I can see the logic in this. He wants to keep himself busy in order for some of these guys to fight each other, I.E. Fury Vs Wilder.

Why fight both guys when one of them can strengthen their position by beating the other guy.

That just means you're not logical.

But I think Wlad is very aware of how bad this fight would be for his image. I can recall when he refused to fight Holyfield for the sane reasons.


I also believe he has stated previously that he would not fight Briggs. It's ridiculous that Briggs name is still mentioned concerning a championship fight.

HBO won't sign off on the fight, maybe RTL. Jennings can't be deemed a can can he ? He won two title eliminator.

Wilder or Fury stepping up instead of dodging the champ would see to that, but neither seem to want to face him. Is Wladimir expected to not fight anyone because his most credible challengers seek to avoid him ?

I think this is a mistake for Wlad. He is usually a great classy champion and fighting an unworthy challenger just because he is very noisy and annoying is unlike Wlad. He shouldn't let Brigg's antics be rewarded with a title shot and a big payday. His brother damn near killed Briggs but it didn't shut him up.

i havent read the posts but im assuming 90 percent of you are saying "fight wilder, dont duck wilder" am i on the right track?

I was hyped for this fight before but the circumstances have changed and there are actual attractive opponents in the division now. The Brighs fight was fun when the division was dead.

It does seem like he is trying to delay the harder fights.
