If Wlad fights Briggs it will be an absolute disgrace to the history of the sport and that is coming from a Wald fan.

But not much worse than fighting Leapei. I know Leapei somehow became his mandatory but that alone is a disgrace.

If Wladimir wants to cherry pick his oppostition like this, then I think he should fight 4 times a year!

For a guy so good as Wlad, he could take on Briggs and Jennings a week apart without even doing a camp and win easily both.

Leapei surely wasn't the best of opponents and he was a ridiculous mandatory amongst many. But at the very least he was still in his prime and not some over the hill deranged individual. He had also recently beaten Boystov. A fighter that I have never seen fight but even the Ring had ranked rather high in the not so distant past.

Briggs would be like taking a massive steaming turd on the heavyweight belt. Briggs should at least fight someone.
