I can see the logic in this. He wants to keep himself busy in order for some of these guys to fight each other, I.E. Fury Vs Wilder.

Why fight both guys when one of them can strengthen their position by beating the other guy.

Team Klitschko and Klitschko himself are some bunch of stpuid ****s! Thats the reason i dont like them! I believe all of Briggs media-trash is scripted and signed by Team Klitschko to generate interest for this fight. And im sure the fight will have more views than most other Klitschko-fights....ist disgusting.

Over the course of his career I've seen Wlad fight in many different styles. Wouldn't surprise me if he took the lead and stalked Wilder. Like you (or someone else) said, that would be very dangerous. But Wlad is defensively responsible and if the fight goes into the later rounds, I expect the younger fighter to loosen up his guard and eat some of the biggest blows he's ever experienced.

I agree with you. Wlad would be the easy favorite if the two should ever meet in the ring but I just think that given Deontay's overall physical ability it has the potential of being tough for him. Wilder matches up better against Klitschko than any of his most recent opponents in years because he won't have all of the physical advantages that he typically enjoys over his smaller opponents. Why, it's because they have similar builds? They are both tall, rangy boxers with longer arms. In addition, style wise both have shown an effectiveness in keeping their smaller, shorter arm opponents on the outside and on the end of their punches without getting hit often and also by not giving up any of those physical advantages in the process.

Oh no! Briggs is a toerag, who's done nothing to deserve a title fight! Fury is official #1 mandatory & shouldn't be pushed back any more. Make Briggs work his way up the rankings, maybe a fight with Polovkin, Pulev or Stiverne should be in order.

I doubt it would be for a tittle fight, no entity should allow this to be for a tittle for that matter......but I understand where Klitschko is coming from I would be tired of this delusional mofo following me everywhere chanting my name is plain annoying and it needs to end.

Berlin - World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has said he wants to finally meet perennial taunter Shannon Briggs of the United States in the ring after facing Bryant Jennings in April.

His management team has confirmed WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO champion Klitschko will face undefeated American heavyweight Jennings at New York's Madison Square Gardens on April 25.

It will be the fourth time Klitschko has fought at the New York venue and he is relishing the fight.
